The marketing strategy of EasyJet makes the travellers to cut out the necessity of travel agents through advertising their telephone number on the side of its aircraft painted in bright orange.

Easyjet became well known in the United Kingdom through TV broadcast that help promote the airline. Numerous slogans have been used by the airline to portray their cheerful and cheeky image.

EasyJet maintains other bases throughout Europe such as Bristol, Belfast, Nottingham, Mulhouse, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Geneva, London-Stansted, Liverpool, Lyons, Milan-Malpensa, Madrid-Barajas, Newcastle, Manchester, Paris-Orly and Paris-Charles de Gaulle.

EasyJet opened a base in Manchester Airport as an expansion of its operation in North West England and more expansion of route have been planned by the airline for the next few years.

Boeing 737 is the initial aircraft exclusively operated by the airline; however, the management have made a decision to order 120 AirBus A319 aircraft. The decision was made to satisfy safety requirements and to accommodate more passengers because of its seating capacity.

The EasyJet A319 was first introduced in October 2003 at the Geneva base. When the EasyJet acquired GB Airways, the airline inherited six AirBus A321 and nine AirBus A320 aircrafts.
