Daallo airlines is one of the airlines United Arab Emirates headquartered in Dubai. It was founded in 1991 and uses Djibouti-Ambouli International Airport as its main base.

Terry Fox, the Director of Operations was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Daallo airlines in December 2008. As of March 2007, the airline has 110 employees.
Daallo airline maintained its operation and services on its main European routes. Its route from Djibouti to Paris CDG and London Gatwick has continued until this day.
From June 2008, the operation was increased from once a week to twice weekly in order to meet the passenger’s requirements. Moreover, the feeder services from Djibouti to Somalia and Dubai were also maintained and continue without interruption.
Destinations
Daallo airlines operate scheduled services from its main hub Djibouti-Ambouli International Airport to other airports and destinations. Included in the destinations served by the airline in Africa are Ethiopia (Bole International Airport) and Kenya (Jomo Kenyatta International airport) in Nairobi.
There are several airports in Somalia where Daallo airlines operates such as Bender Qassim International airport, Burao Airport, Galcaio Airport, Hargeisa International Airport and Aden Adde International Airport.
The Dubai International Airport is the only airport being served by the airline in Asia. Other two airports served by Daallo airlines in Europe are London Gatwick Airport in United Kingdom and Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris.
Fleet
Daallo Airlines fleet includes two Antonov An-24 aircraft based in Djibouti and operates in Somalia, one Boeing 757-200 and one Boeing 727-200. IIyushin II-18 was also operated by the airline during its early years operation as well as Tupolev Tu-154 and L-410 aircraft. Daallo Airlines also used the McDonnell Douglas MD-83 in 2003.
