Caribbean Sun Airlines operated regional services in the Caribbean since January 2003 but ceased its operation in January 2007. The airline used the Luis Munoz Marin International Airport, San Juan Puerto Rico as its main base.

However, the company was again sold to a new group that plans to operate the Caribbean Sun Airline a new name. Tomas Romero is the head of the group who wants to rename it as World Atlantic Airways flying MD-83 aircraft.
Caribbean Sun Airlines serves the following destinations including U.S. commonwealth and territories; Antigua, Barbados, British Virgin Islands, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Netherlands Antilles, Puerto Rico, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Vincent and the Grenadines as well as Trinidad and Tobago.
The fleet of Caribbean Sun Airline consisting of 1 Boeing MD-83 aircraft, 2 Boeing MD-82 aircraft and 3 other aircrafts. The logo of the livery of Caribbean Sun Airlines is similar to the logo of its sister company Caribbean Star.
The name Caribbean Sun is painted in green near the cockpit with all white fuselages. As of this writing, the airline enhances repainting of the livery with white fuselage. The word “World Atlantic” is painted near the entry door of the aircraft. The two arches in blue and green symbolize the “WAA”.
