Canjet Airlines is a low-cost chartered airline based at the Halifax International Airport in Enfield Nova Scotia, Canada. It operates throughout Canada and the United States through contract and ad hoc charters.
The IMP Group Internationals wholly owned CanJet with 572 employees. It served discount passenger airline to 15 cities in Canada and United States. However, it continued to operate as chartered airline but the scheduled flights were ceased on September 2006.
Airlines operations
CanJet Airlines was established in 1999 and was launched as a division of IMP Group. Before the bankruptcy of Canada 3000, merging was made between CanJet and Canada 3000 in May 2001. Canjet served the following destinations in Canada; British Columbia, Alberta, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labarador, Nova Scotia, Ontario and Quebec. While other destinations in Florida USA, Bahamas, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Jamaica, Martinique, Mexico, Netherland Antilles and Turks and Caicos Islands.
