Alpi Airline is a privately owned regional airline operated on a scheduled passenger service that links 15 domestic destinations and international service to Czech Republic, France, Russia, Spain and Romania. The airlines main hub is in Marco Polo International Airport in Venice. However due to some circumstances the airline had ceased its operations on January 2008.
Early History
The company was founded in 1979 an aerobatic team and later branched out into the executive transport market. In may 1996, Alpi Eagles started operating a scheduled passenger services from Venice. The airline is owned by Ithifly-Veneto Svillippo, Interblanca and Titano-Airontours. The biggers of the shares were acquired by Paolo Siniglia, the owner of the Simod Shoe Factory in Padova. Alpi Eagle has a 10 Jet Fokker 100 and 16 Embarker 195.
